Product Description
This KNX system coupler connects two twisted-pair bus lines, segments or areas while maintaining electrical isolation between them. Its operating role is determined through KNX addressing, allowing the same compact device to function as an area coupler, line coupler or segment coupler within different system architectures.
KNX Data Secure support enables protected bus communication in compatible installations, while TP256 compatibility makes the coupler suitable for modern KNX networks with expanded device capacity. The unit is powered directly from the KNX bus and has a rated current consumption of 9 mA, removing the need for a separate power connection.
Designed for professional distribution-board installation, the IP20 housing mounts on a standard DIN rail and occupies one 18 mm rail unit. It measures 90 × 18 × 58 mm and operates within an ambient temperature range of −5°C to 45°C.
