Secure Remote Access via ETS

Instant support for homeowners, less time on-site for system integrators ⚡

System integrators have an overview of projects in one place and can manage them remotely so smart homeowners receive instant support.

For smart home integrators

Connect without a VPN

Secure and quick connect enabled by IP whitelisting.

Connect securely with a tunnel connection

Secure network tunnel established by websockets.

Auto-Disconnect for a peace of mind

Set the time span after which the tunnel automatically turns off.

For smart home owners

Faster response

Cut waiting times for receiving integrator support.

Next-level security with Server-only access

Limit access to the Server only, not the whole network (like with a VPN).

Your home, your control

Open/close access to your home under your own terms.

Bring 100s of Matter devices to 1Home

Integrate 100s of IoT Matter devices as if they were a part of the KNX installation.

Configuration without the customer's phone

System integrators can configure Matter devices without requiring homeowners smartphone.

Options for every budget

For customers on a budget, choose cheaper Matter alternatives to KNX devices.

Solution for renovations

Don't loose projects if KNX is not an option. Provide a professional solution with Matter wireless devices or create a mix of both.

KNX & Matter as one

Use Matter devices with KNX in automation as if they are a part of the same system.

Achieve more with Matter

Setup more complex Matter automations not possible in smart assistant mobile apps.

Support for homeowners for Matter

System integrators can offer remote and secure support for Matter devices, not only KNX.

NEW

Assign KNX addresses to Matter devices and configure them in ETS

1Home Server KNX Pro and 1Home IoT Gateway enable you to control Matter devices like Philips Hue, IKEA, NUKI, and 100s of others from any KNX mobile app.

No internet connection required

1Home Server works locally and if you remove it from the internet it won't even notice. Both KNX and Matter also don't require an internet connection so your home will always continue to work without interruptions (with the exception of voice control which does require internet).

Privacy focused engineering

Your home, your data. We respect your privacy and don't send any data to our servers except for critical system issues that might occur and basic system information needed for updating the software and remote access.

Blazing fast setup

Checkout the latest update from our CTO as to how setup flow, ETS auto-detection and ETS project validation will be improved on the new 1Home Server device.

We do the tedious tasks, you focus on the important.

We have put 6-years into developing a state of the art AI algorithm that automatically syncs your KNX configuration with 1Home, based on an existing ETS project file. Goodbye time-consuming and stressful double-work of copying KNX addresses.

Intuitive control in a single dashboard.

Manage all your devices, automation and connected apps within one simple to use dashboard.

Highly responsive support team - here for you.

Get expert help fast. System integrators can get access to our dedicated support channel with an even higher priority support.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between 1Home Server and 1Home Bridge?

There are a couple of key differences between the Bridge and the Server.

Both devices bridge KNX devices to smart assistants, but 1Home Server does this using Matter - the future-proof local-first open standard which all of the assistants are migrating to and are using as their core smart home protocol.

1Home Server runs completely locally (with the exception of the KNX ETS auto-detection feature) and is built to run without the cloud. 1Home Bridge still depends on the 1Home cloud to some extent, mostly due to the requirements of the older proprietary assistant integrations.

The 1Home Server also comes with powerful in-house designed hardware and with greater performance on which we have added more demanding functionality such as 1Home Automations.

What is Matter?

Matter is an open standard for smart home technology that allows interoperability between any Matter-certified devices using a single protocol. The standard is already widely adopted and its fast growth is backed by industry leaders like Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung, Philips, Eve, etc.

Matter unifies all smart home assistants (Apple, Google, Samsung, Alexa, etc.) to a single protocol giving the consumer the ability to choose their preferred smart home assistant ecosystem.

Are there any monthly fees?

No, we do not charge monthly recurring fees.

What is your return policy?

You can request a refund of your order within the first 30 days since the order was delivered to you. Once the 30 days have passed since delivery, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind. After discussing the refund with our support agents you have to ship the order back within the next 10 days. Learn more in our return policy.

How do I configure the 1Home Server?

The configuration is as simple as plug-and-play. You need no prior KNX ETS knowledge or special software. You also don't need to have an ETS license. All configuration is done via the local web dashboard. You can learn more here .

Does the 1Home Server require an internet connection?

1Home Server works locally; if you remove it from the internet, it won't even notice. Both KNX and Matter also don't require an internet connection so your home will always continue to work without interruptions. The only exception is KNX automatic ETS detection and remote access which do require an active internet connection.

What kind of power supply can I use with the 1Home Server?

There are two ways how to power the device:

1. Using an auxiliary 12-30 VDC power supply. If your KNX power supply offers an auxiliary output, you can use it with the 1Home Server. Just be sure that the capacity of the auxiliary power supply is enough for the device.

2.DC barrel power supply. 12V 1A is the minimum, but to be safe, we recommend using a 12V 2A DC barrel power supply.

Does the 1Home Server support Thread?

The 1Home Server doesn't contain wireless Thread connectivity, but it can communicate to Thread devices via third-party Thread border routers (Apple Homepod, Google Nest, etc.)
