With the launch of HPD3, STEINEL has extended their edge-device leadership in people counting. Supported protocols include KNX, MQTT, BACnet and JSON via POE. Privacy assured, there are no cloud or monthly fees as it can be directly and securely connected to any backend (including your Azure or AWS instance).
With the ability to count people in up to 10 user-defined zones, you can monitor granularly down to individual workstations (1 zone per workstation) if required. The multi-sensor functionality includes:
- temperature
- humidity
- CO2
- VOC
- brightness
- high frequency occupancy sensor for lighting
If all you need is the hardware to incorporate into your platform or solution, they're a one-off cost.
